North York offers the opportunity for children aged from 5 to 16 to play House League -introducing the game to youngsters and allowing the older players to enjoy playing once a week in the sun

The youngest play T-ball before progressing to Rookie ball where a low speed machine is used to provide consistent pitches. Older players play with live pitching on larger diamonds
At all ages the emphasis is on fun, skill development and providing everyone the opportunity to participate in every aspect of the game. Shirts, caps and pants are included in the fee and bats and catcher's equipment are provided but the players need to bring their own mitt and protective clothing. Running shoes are recommended.
Games are played weekly on an appropriate sized diamond throughout the summer from May until playoffs in early September. First pitches this season are thrown in week commencing 12th May
Registration commences every January online via quickenrollment. The 2008 fees are $110 for the first child in a family (Tball $60) , $100 for second with other siblings free. Please refer to the Registration Letter and Detailed Instructions - which are sent to all 2008 registrants - in the sidebar and the FAQ for further information. If you need more clarification please contact the Registrar
Coaches are always required in all divisions to make our programme effective. Support before and during the season will be provided. PLEASE volunteer when registering
Parents are reminded that this is a team sport and that absences or late-arrivals affect their child's team-mates. Also please bear in mind that the Umpires are usually only a few years older than the participants
If games have to be cancelled due to weather, a message will be recorded on our NYBA hotline, 416-410-5723
