50 Years of NYBA History
The club started more than fifty years ago as a small houseleague of the Don Mills Kiwani club. In 1969 the North York City Council approved plans for the development of Bond Park as a baseball facility and North York Baseball Association was formed
Plaques at the grounds commemorate the championship teams and trees have been planted in recognition of the contributions made by the most dedicated volunteers in NYBA history
There have been some outstanding teams and individual performers over the years with several players obtaining college scholarships or being drafted by Major League Clubs
Dedicated volunteers,Tom and Pat Lawson were the 2000 Inductees into the Carmen Bush signature club and have kept newspaper clippings relating to North York Baseball since 1971
