NYBA Volunteer Appreciation Dinner

Who: Anyone who volunteers for NYBA in any capacity is welcome to join us for a complimentary dinner to help show our appreciation.

When: September 6th, 2008 starting at 6:30pm

Where: The Granite Brewery, 245 Eglinton Ave. E. (at Mount Pleasant) Toronto, Ont. Featuring a live band called the Boomerangs.

There will also be door prizes awarded, as well as some recognition awards. Volunteers must register for their free tickets in person with Heather Dobie either at the snack bar, or via e-mail

As a non-profit organization, the NYBA could not function without a host of volunteers. In all, around 150 people help out annually, be it as coaches, umpires, board members or any other number of duties needed to ensure the smooth running of the organization

The Board meets on the first Monday of every month, October through April, and is responsible for managing the finances, registration and overseeing recommendations from the rep commitee amongst other duties. An AGM is held annually in the first quarter
